During 2002, I completed a masters degree program in secondary math education from University of North Carolina CHarlotte and began a late life career in education. I found a high school in the Charlotte Meckenburg School system that needed the skills I had acquired during my program. I began at Olympic High School that August in diverse learners population that was also a high poverty population. Until April 2013 I worked as an educator.
